Ghost Miner

This guy popped up on a wall not too far from our house just after we moved in.

He helps to prove what I was saying in my recent post about how history is everywhere you look in this town. Our graffiti artists don't leave their names in big block letters or scrawl obscenities on every available surface, but rather take the time to render a well thought out and very well executed likeness of an 1850s miner panning for gold.

Mycelia & I enjoy spending a few moments with him on our morning walk to school.

It's true, there's gold in them hills.
